MEET JONI

Hi, I'm Joni Marmo!

Born and raised in Miami, Florida to Cuban exiled parents, I strived to do great things, yet I never imagined that I would accomplish so many dreams while learning profound life lessons along the way.

I had a successful career in media, thriving and fulfilled — until a health diagnosis changed my life’s trajectory. During my healing journey, I heard God’s voice calling me to walk away from my career and create content that would inspire others and remind them they are
not alone.

Choosing to follow that calling was one of the boldest, humblest, and most rewarding decisions of my life.
Over the years, I became a university professor, a high school theology teacher, and a youth ministry leader — pouring into others to help them discover their
true potential.

Let’s not stay strangers.

A Journey of Discovery

Reinvention is never easy — but peeling back the layers of who I thought I was led me to uncover my true identity and purpose.

Today, I am a woman led by God, passionate about inspiring YOU to believe in your dreams, reset your career, or simply start over with faith and courage.

With every experience comes a lesson — and this platform is dedicated to seeking wisdom and sharing
it freely.

Inspiring Others through Content

Joyful Joni

Despite all the challenges and difficulties that we face, I believe in staying optimistic through the storms, holding on to the hope that everything will turn out exactly as it’s supposed to. Life is hard, but our attitude is what either builds us up or tears us down. My faith has taught me that in every situation there is a lesson to be learned, and that is why, I always choose JOY!

A Little More About Me

I’m happily married to my husband Carlos, and blessed to have three adult stepchildren and two grandchildren.

We live in South Florida alongside our tiny but mighty Maltipoo, Archie, and our grumpy but lovable cat, Sonny.

When I’m not creating, mentoring or in speaking engagements, I love spending time with family, coloring, reading, and enjoying the Florida sunshine.

I’ve always loved the arts, particularly visual arts. I used to paint, but as I’ve gotten older, I enjoy coloring books. This was a hobby I shared with my mom and it got us through the pandemic together. Never underestimate the power of having a hobby that brings you peace.

I BELIEVE YOUR STORY IS JUST STARTING.

And it would be an honor to play a small part in helping write that story.
